- This assignment has students map access to food in an area, discuss and create solutions to improve access.
The National Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education
- This centre provides lesson plans for all ages on a variety of topics related to indigenous education including, justice, land and health.
- This five-unit online course provides pedagogical materials to teach concepts related to social justice and public health. Three units, Polluting site in Northern Manhattan, Anatomy of an un-natural disaster (Katrina), and West Harlem's battle for clean air, also deal with environmental issues.
